Why do people hate Travis Barker so much, or say he sucks?

Travis Barker does not suck. He's an amazing drummer. No one claimed that he was the best in the world, but he is a great drummer. Just because people don't like him, that doesn't make him bad. People have always felt the need to hate on people who were good at things, I don't know why. Maybe they're jealous or think that talking crap about whoever is on top makes them cool or something. Its one thing to have an educated opinion, it's another to just talk crap just because.
