What dog is right for my daughter?

My daughter is a teenager and she wants a dog. She told me she wanted a dog that she could run on long runs with and she could cuddle and watch movies with.I told her that I would get her a dog because she has been good and has had good grades. I also prefer it not to be a very loud barker and not a really hard dog to wash/brush. Only because we live in the backwoods on 15 acres and everywhere you look is woods (: thanks!
